Android Developer (m/f/d)
We at Evenly are looking for an Android Developer to join our team in Berlin.

What we want from you
- Multiple years (+2) of professional experience (not counting internships) with Android development in Kotlin
- Good knowlege of the Android software ecosystem and frameworks
- Ability to develop state of the art code with modern concepts and technologies e.g. MVVM, Compose, Coroutines
- Solid knowledge of git or another DVCS
- Reading and writing in German and English, at least one of those very well (C1) and the other one solid (B1).
- Eager to learn and improve your skills
- Curiosity about other environments (React Native, Flutter, Web, iOS etc.)
- Understanding of technologies and system architecture
How to stand out
- Strong drive to learn new technologies and stay up to date on new trends and best practices
- Good communication skills: working in a team and with our clients
- Experience with platforms, technologies or languages highly appreciated (e.g. iOS, backend, web etc.)
- Strive for high quality code and knowledge of best practices
- Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus
- Experience with TV / WearOS platform, ExoPlayer, Bluetooth or the Casting framework is also welcome
- Eager to learn and improve your skills
- A formal software engineering or computer science education is nice, but optional
- An eye for product, user interfaces and design is appreciated
Note: This is a non-freelance position, 35h+ per week. You need to be located in the general Berlin metropolitan area and be able to occasionaly join meetings in the office or social events in Berlin-Kreuzberg on short notice.
Also note: A solid level of German (B1 or better) is absolutely required.
