The Toll4Europe app helps trucks deliver all across Europe

Toll4Europe simplifies the life of truck drivers on the road by requiring only one toll device for a large number of European countries.

We built an Android companion app for the On-Board Unit in order to make the data conveniently accessible on phones.

The app displays current information from the On-Board Unit such as booking status of toll services and stored vehicle data such as axles, current weight, booked services etc. Furthermore, the app offers additional support thanks to useful information such as the On-Board Unit user manual, videos, FAQs and news about Toll4Europe.

Going beyond the On-Board Unit the app also offers real-time information about the availability of truck parking in Germany.

Based on a serverless Amazon AWS infrastructure and open-data provided by Toll Collect and the federal Autobahn GmbH the app allows drivers to find parking spaces when they most need them.

The real-time data is provided by the Mobilithek platform from the German Federal Ministry of Transport.

The app allows multiple On-Board Units to be connected to one phone and is localized in German, English and Polish.
